What needed solving
Everyday digital tasks were scattered across slow, ad-heavy utility sites that often uploaded sensitive text or forced sign-ins for simple work. The goal was a useful, privacy-respecting tools hub that could grow without a database or server bill becoming the product's bottleneck.
The solution
Built a Next.js 16 + React 19 product with a registry-driven tools catalogue. Tool metadata powers the directory, category pages, search, related rails, sitemap, canonical metadata, and JSON-LD, while most tools run entirely in the browser. The only server surface is a validated, rate-limited OpenAI route for AI features.

- Shipped 20+ live tools across calculators, text utilities, converters, developer helpers, and AI-assisted workflows
- Most tools run fully client-side, so users can work without accounts, uploads, or per-use server cost
- One registry entry makes each tool discoverable across directory search, category pages, related rails, sitemap, and structured data
- AI calls are isolated behind validation, size caps, rate limits, and strict structured outputs
